As it's been snowing today I was clearing out some old family papers, which reminded me of N633 Huka-Nui. So I thought I would check the N12 register to see if she is still around.

A 1948 Uffa King clinker hull, my father purchased her, in a run down condition c1962, from a yard at Henley-on-Thames & set about a full refurb. We had several fun sailing holidays with her & even had a small Anzani outboard motor fitted later for family ferrying duties. Ultimately we sold her on, when I got the Motorcycle bug, must have been around 1965.

Sorry to learn she is no more ..................  KEN
