Sting was owned by original designer and builder Laurie Jone up until 2010 when she moved north to reside with Duncan Elder at Castle Semple SC in Scotland. Ownership of Sting has now passed to me and she is resident at Cramond Boat Club on the Firth of Forth, alongside China Crisis (N3223). I copy below an article written by Laurie Jones that appeared in the July 1976 Nat12 Newsletter.

Sting now has a lovely new rudder and stock, courtesy Tim Gatti. The original was beyond repair.
