Just looking for thoughts of rudder foils on a Tigress design? Has anyone tried this on the older wooden boats?

I have been messing about with a foil on a double floored pipedream with a distinct lack of success, I am not sure how much of the failure was due to boat set up and my total inability to sail these days. Unfortunately I have now sold my foiling rudder with another boat so further experimentation will have to wait until I have built myself a foiling rudder.
I intend to persist, but really just for fun and using the principle, if you are going to come last you might as well do it in with style!
