Someone mentioned to me at the Dinghy Show that the National 12 videos hadn't been available on YouTube for a while. I think they were removed due to the funky choons infringing copyright. The good news is that Google seem to have some arrangement now so that videos with choons and be uploaded (they've probably had it for a while but I've only just noticed). There's some great and entertaining footage, not to mention some great toe tapping beats

There is also a Pathe Pictorial covering the 1954 Burton at Southend. This was very popular at Frensham as it featured our Club Secretary!
John, thanks for pointing this out, I've corrected. Surely you're too young to be featuring in a 1955 film. At what time in the footage do you appear?
