Early entry discount for Salcombe Regatta ends this week on 30th of June so sign up for a week of sun, sea and sand. If you're a student there's free entry and you only need to pay for your social tickets so don't miss it!
As well as the events organised by SYC the 12 fleet have some events to add to regatta fun.
Saturday: To start the week join us for a drink at the SYC bar following the briefing for competitors. Wear something to identify you as a N12 sailor if you can ( foiling rudder?) .
Sunday: DIY N12 Beach games on Mill Bay starting after sailing. Low water 16.07 . Those who can Please bring games to share. (weather permitting)
Tuesday: Blinkhorn Trophy for U18 helms in N12s or Ents (17.30 start)
In the evening the Yacht Club is holding a cadet disco as well as Byng's infamous pig racing
Wednesday: N12 Breakfast at the Winking Prawn from 10am - you could have an optional morning swin, surf or sup!
Thursday: Jazz Gin and Canapes at the Yacht Club (see your race programme for more details).
The race today will be the inaugural DRESS LIKE A PIRATE RACE. Get on your eye patches and hats and embrace your inner pirate as you sail around the estuary.
Friday: Prizegiving at the Yacht Club (to include a prize for the best dressed pirates!)
There is also rumour of uni students organising some team racing in fireflies fleet to fleet challenge!
