Boy oh boy it is much better than doing work, but has anyone noticed the boat that has headed for London?

Nigel seems to have got up to first in class now!

Only 57 boats left in the race at 16.00hrs!

Message from Nathan timed at 2.56 this morning - they have rounded the Rock and are on their way home - and Nigel says that Ocean Racing is still fun!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully Nigel will pick up more places on the way home. They have done incredibly well considering a high number of the cream of UK yachting have gone home (some may say wisely).
We have been watching him the whole race, it must have taken real courage given the conditions, well done to all of them and wishing them a safe return home.
How about digging out one of our many trophies and presenting it to them all, there must be one for this type of achievement, even if we have to make another brick available!

looks like they're on the home straight - it's now really close for first in class, so here's hoping they aren't robbed in the final stages.

i would like to award them all a good nights sleep on dry land - after a few celebratory beers that is!

They have finished I think the whole class would say well done to everyone on board !!!
Few beers and sleep probably required.

Thank you very much guys! It was nice to hear everyone was behind us! We managed line honors in IRC3 with roughly a 50 mile lead (they were rounding the Lizard as we finished in Plymouth). Unfortunately we were beaten on corrected time by 34 minutes, obviously the beer break in the Scilly Isles wasn't the best idea. Anyway good fun was had by all.......now does anyone know when the Round Britain and Ireland starts?

As the press release left out, A big well done to Mike Douglas, Lizzie Shawcroft and especially Brain Skeet for the loan of his Sigma 38 'Marta' thus allowing us to compete after the unfortunate damage to Persephone.
