Title: Salcombe October open
Post by: wobbly on 10 Sep 2012, 02:09
On Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th October Salcombe Yacht Club is having a N12 and solo open meeting. We have arranged a curry night at the club on the Saturday. To allow for some socialising on the beach between races on the Sunday we have arranged for sandwiches and hot pasties to be delivered to Smalls Cove. Prices etc. to be finalised but we have given the club the brief to provide hearty food at good value. Meals will need to be pre-booked. We think N12 sailors like an early evening meal is this right? say 7 p.m.?  Application forms should go on the Salcombe Yacht Club web site today. www.salcombeyc.org.uk .Queries about boat parking etc. to Jayne Morris sailing co ordinator admin@salcombeyc.org.uk  We look forward to extending a warm welcome to visitors.  Helen /Para-docs

Sunny, light winds, lots of tide.  Great sailing.  John & Mandy won on tie break from William and Sophie.  Great curry on sturday night, pasties on the beach in the sun on Sunday and brilliant music from Nick the Fish.
