I owned this Proctor 2 from late 1957 until 1961, whilst a member of Minima Yacht Club at Kingston upon Thames. Its inconspicious performance at Burton Week, Scarborough in 1958 was due to operator errors the first couple of days, and then a spectacular loss of mast on the first beat on the Wednesday prompted early retirement and return home mid-week! The Ratsey mainsail was fortunately recovered completely undamaged, except for one snapped batten!
I then modified the fore-deck from the original deck-stepped mast, which was totalled at Scarborough, to accept a keel-stepped aluminium bendy mast from Ian Proctor, which substantially improvred the handling and performance. However, the following year's 1959 Burton Week at Weymouth was equally poor performance, but we enjoyed some superb sea reaches!

Incidentally, it may have been a typing error upon data entry, but the correct name is Quiz II, unless it has been changed since. Any one know the present status or location of the boat? I have some photographs in storage, which I will plan to upload when available!

NTOA Note: Boat name now corrected to Quiz II.
