This is one of Robin Steavenson's photos Circa 1950. Mimulus was at this time owned by Ian Proctor and shows that the boat had side buoyancy tanks as well as bags in the bow and stern.  Also shows an early centre mainsheet system.

Looks local to me and a hamble boat I'd say.
