The early history of this GRP boat is unknown to me but sometime in the 1980's (?) it turned up with the Trent College fleet, which sailed at Trent Valley.  The hull was given a Vikings Funeral around 2000.  I bought the mast from where it lay in a garden in Bramcote.  It was a very nice lightweight Proctor Alpha minus, which unfortunately I broke in two at an Open Meeting at Avon SC.

Here is Phyllida Rowley, winner of the Money Cup 1969, 1970, 1971 and 1978 sailing Jet (a Keith Callaghan Havoc design) at the Oxford SC meeting for the Ivor Williams Tropy in July 1975.

I designed the Havoc National Twelve in 1974 and set up a partnership with Patrick Blake (CB Associates) to market the boats. I made the tooling for the hull and deck moulds and Lloyd Channing (Nottingham) carried out the moulding.
JET was my own Havoc and I sailed her in Burton Week, 1974, crewed by Diana Robertson.
Dinghy Sailing magazine ran an article on the Havoc in 1974, in which the lines were published.
