I aquired this boat from free-cycle, Milton Keynes a few weeks ago.  It was half way through a restoration job.  I have finish painting the hull and sanding back to wood on the inside, I will be varnishing shortly.

OK well done however Im sure the boat you have is not Travelling Light I was going to pick it up myself.
The Boat you have is clinker built and is possibly a march hare called fifi

hope this helps regards Paul

I have to say that I agree with Paul, I too looked at this boat, did some research and felt that things were not as straight forward as first seemed.
I also came to the conclusion that it was probably a 1964 March Hare called Fifi, hull no 2253. Unless anyone else knows differently.
I have to say the although this was a disappointment, this was not the thing that stopped me buying the boat, yes buying, it was the loss of my rented garage as the owner wanted it back.
Still my loss your gain. good luck and enjoy.
