Hi Philip

You can get Slot gasket from either P&B or a Company called www.saill-sport.com

I seem to remember the Fireball lot would often make them out of old sail material doubled up. Not sure how well it works on a 12, but seemed to do the job cheaply and effectively if you had a knackered set of sails lying around  :)

... and the trick here is to make sure that you really clean off the old glue first, otherwise the new gasket won't bed down properly.

I might need some help here... the gasket is held in with aluminium runners screwed down. Do i need to glue it as well?

The old gasket was being caught by the CB as it was being raised, and the CB was therfore sticking
