A rather wet Mole ??)
And a wet Pie Boy to boot! ??)
Greetings! Team Trent Valley will be there too, operating out of the Burham Mark-up as usual! I understand that Peacock & Wood will be sailing their new yot (code named "The White Elephant"?) for the first few days and I will be there again with N3157 (now back to her orginal name of "Perfect Kiss"), ably assisted by Christine Marshall, for the whole week.
Hi Paul, Friday evening Jolly Sailors Team UR will be there, with even more kids
Team Hykeham will be there.

Metcheck forecasting SUN for Saturday! Brilliant news

Greetings Gerry & Team UR! See you at the Jolly Sailor Friday- but MORE bratz? What have you been up to this year?:o
Do you mean Friday this week or Friday end of Norfolk Week? I assume the former, himself the latter . .
Mrs RM
Yes this Friday, our houses are friday to friday. Jolly Sailor brew their own and good food.
Looking forward to seeing the the N12s out in numbers. Good to have you out in front of us to show us where we should go.
Hunny is looking warm but looking light. We are there all week in the pink again and doing Kings Lynn for the 1st time.
+1 for Jolly Sailors though. Also I think the Heacham beer festival is on the same week!
I think numbers in total will be up on last year - which was absolutely fantastic.

Is anyone driving up the A12 to get to Hunstanton who would be able to collect a boom, and a couple of other bits from Nigel Waller for me? It would be greatly appreciated and will avoid me taking a rather indirect route to Hunstanton myself. Please email to john.meadowcroft at fullers.co.uk if you can help. Payment in beer...
Thanks

Weather looks good for the shorebased but perhaps more wind would be good for the sailors. I can see someone wishing he'd taken a vintage boat . . . .
Mrs RM
Team Camm/Ballantyne & babysitters will be there, all accommodation issues now sorted out. We're liking the look of those light winds and sunshine, unless postponements get in the way of baby meal times...;)
If it is as light as forecast you might be better with Anya at the front of the boat! I forecast Pie Boys topping up their tans as they bob up and down . . . . Thankfully postponements can't go on forever at HSC - the sea disappears!
For the small Camms, Pie Boy Joe recommends the tap by the beach chalets at Hunstanton for fun when small people can walk.

The tap lived up to all expectations, providing endless amusement for the 3 members of the Pie Crew and Tom and Harry Yarwood. Various Pellings also seen in the vicinity. Anya Camm seen close by but safe in Gma's arms (just wait till next year!!).
What a fantastic weekend, so sad we won't be there for the rest of the week but will almost certainly be there for 2009. The dates for 2009 are 1 to 8 August and the week sees a return to Brancaster Staithe SC. Jenny Lee at Overy Staithe will also feature.
Hope everyone who is still there has a fantastic week,:)
Team RM
For those of you who are sitting at desks and wishing you were in what looks to be a still gloriously sunny Norfolk, log on to http://www.bbc.co.uk/norfolk/content/webcams/webcam_wells_harbour2_webcam.shtml (http://www.bbc.co.uk/norfolk/content/webcams/webcam_wells_harbour2_webcam.shtml) at about 15.00 and you might just see the fleet heading out to race at Wells! Race due to start 15.30.
ICM reports big thunderstorm last night. The empty skies in Norfolk produce some of the best thunder shows - wish we'd been there!
