So then how will be at the avon open meeting next weekend? It is always a great event with lots of wind and not much room on the startline!
see you all there!

Well if all goes to plan me and jmmy, and chris bish with john stone (!) should be making an appearance . . . . .
Adele
I was just wondering what time the first race is?
Richard
I think that the first start is at 11.
Sorry I can't be there - I really wish I could, this is amongst my favourite venues. Anyone who hasn't been before should give it a go - lovely friendly club which usually seems to find a good breeze for the event.

Well i feel that we jinxed it somehow! There was not much wind at all!
As a quick round-up Gavin Willis won the event with Fi Lucas second and Jimmy Whitehead was third.

........and there were some vintage boats there too! Very well organised event, very friendly club - those that didn't go missed a super day's yotting! Thank you Avon and especially Fiona for keeping 12s alive there!
I would agree with you Paul. The Avon S.C. open is always a well run event. Set on the River Severn in a beautiful part of Gloustershire adds to the whole experience. I think the results were
1st N2487 'Dolly Daydream' Paul Turner.
2nd. N1673 'Lets Go' Brian Herring.
3rd. N1657 'Just Lucky' Brian Kitchen.
sorry I missed out the crew's names but I'm writing this from memory.
