Title: Hamble Warming Pan 13th/14th March
Post by: MikeDay on 09 Mar 2010, 05:40
The Warming Pan is nearly upon us, with races across both days for Twelves as one of the selected classes.  Details are here: http://www.hambleriversc.org.uk/wp_2010.asp (http://www.hambleriversc.org.uk/wp_2010.asp).

It has come too soon for those with new boats on order.  Anyone going? (and if so, please could you make a note of the Twelve results for me, thanks).

Jo and I plan to go. Forecast looks great - anyone else coming to play?

Well there were three of us and we had some really great sailing - light winds on Saturday and more wind and sunshine on Sunday.

Well done Sophie and Jo - looks like you cleaned up again!
What happened in Race 2?

Results don't really do the racing justice as we all had our moments (good and bad!) - Steve and Andy won race 2 on the water, despite Dave and Charlie and ourselves having a bit of a headstart off the line (and not going back)!

If you go to the Y&Y website and select the home page link to the Hamble Warming Pan report there is a link at the bottom to some very good Merlin footage. No N12 film unfortunately but still well worth watching.
