YOSC have been given some fascinating old colour slides of 12 sailing on the river from the late 1950s and '60s with have been uploaded to the club's website. We think many of the originals were taken on Robin Stevenson's Leica cameras using Ektachrome / Kodachrome slide film, which still looks fresh today. There are 7 pages of them on the website. Dates and names can be found for many of them in small print at the bottom below the image. Several well known 12 names of the era can be seen. There were plenty of of blazers and ties (shape up you lot!) but not a buoyancy aid in sight! The pics start on:

Some great pictures in there as well as some younger looking Twelve sailors if you look carefully
