Title: Sunken Pudding???
Post by: DavidW on 16 Aug 2007, 10:26
Did anybody notice a sinking Pudding at Burton Week? A pudding was promised at Salcombe but none appeared and activity levels on this board have reduced.

Cheers

Rumour has it that he broke his Passion Wagon in Brixham so had nothing to tow his Passion Pudding to Salcombe with - and he didn't fancy joining Derek and Fran on the passage race...............

Ein deutsches wimp heraus?

Hopefully the Google translater got that right or Jimbo will be hanging me up by the knackwursts!!!!!!!!!!!

Just returned from Orkney (where we were pleased to see our most northerly N12 still in residence) and can report that whilst there was plenty of evidence of sunken German craft in Scapa Flow, the only pudding we came across was some rather good Clootie Dumpling on Westray.

Jim, you seem to have caused more damage to PP in one week than I managed in three odd seasons. Removal of thwart seat will cause very unhappy crews so suggest not such a bright idea!

Too late for that.
Examination reveals seat not in good nick, rotten in parts - mould and rot!!! and not enough foam in others.Foam that was there soaked up water. Both crews complained that the seat was getting in the way and they preferred sitting on the floor.
