Just a quick reminder that Ripon will host their annual open meeting on Saturday 10 October, followed by Yeadon's open on Sunday 11th. The NOR for the Ripon event is on the RSC website (http://www.ripon-sc.org.uk/documents/NOR_N12_09.doc (http://www.ripon-sc.org.uk/documents/NOR_N12_09.doc)) and we'd be delighted to see any DB's, AC's and Vintage boats there. Camping will be available at the club (but please give us advance notification if you intend to camp as we will need to arrange to be there too) and there will be the usual meal in the clubhouse (bar open too) on the Saturday night.

It would be really helpful to have some idea of numbers - so who's coming out to play? Sadly Roly won't be on the water, but I will be supporting from the shore!

Gattiman (aka Mr Towed - parp! parp! ) is planning to be there with some sort of 12 and some sort of crew - just not sure who. Would respondents mind killing two birds with one stone and mention if you intend doing Yeadon on the following day. Thanks. Tim.
Howard C and Helen N are planning on sailing both days, probably in Triarda N2266 as both days are part of the Vintage Series as well as the Northern Series. This does mean that other fleet boats could be available for competent and considerate helms to borrow subject to sorting the logistics of moving up to 4 boats around on 2 trailers and in the case of N2 the forecast weather/wind conditions. I'm planning to bring Nutmeg to both Ripon and Yeadon once I've found a crew .

Greetings! Dolly Daydream (and her merry crew) hope to be there. Px:K)
We will becoming and camping, but we will give Yeadon a miss this year.
Pete Slingsby will be having his annual outing in a 12 and sailing at Yeadon with YSC Commodore John Simms as crew in N2769 Barrow Boy. No wonder your too frightened to come Angus! 8)
Nick is keen but it is University open day so we will have to miss. Hope to be back next year - probably with Nick helming

Saddly Dolly Daydream is now only a "maybe" following her helmsman's shoulder operation on Friday (see Welland report for back ground). Long term prognosis is good for aged helm but recovery slow (but could be speeded by provision of gifts of alcohol!). Px :K)
Nutmaeg is now a definate for Ripon but can't make yeadon due to a Christening :(
Wendy Windblows will be at both events.

Team Roly will be there minus the child (Brownie camp), crutches and a boat, but will be on the bank taking pics and generally joining in with dry feet!

Brian and Liz Wady are planning to sail Brainstorm N2344 at Ripon this Saturday and looking forward to a good event, not too much wind please!
We can't sort out any child minding and are unlikely to make either event.
