I was the first owner of Cinderella (N2324) and the first Proctor Mark 12. She was the last of my four Twelves. I fatefully experimented with an angling centreboard which necessitated a wide centrebaord slot. In my hands, the boat never had any success, probably carrying a lot of water inside the box and with the unavoidable drag from wide sealing rubbers. I wonder if any subsequent owner modified this centreboard arrangement back to something more conventional. I am also suspicious of the built-in buoyancy fore and aft. This would make the boat torsionally stiffer and increase her pitching moment of inertia; both factor may be a bad thing. I abandoned further experiments and sold her because I was building a house and raising a a family at that time. I would be pleased to hear from any later owner.
