Title: paint - internal
Post by: philipcosson on 17 Oct 2006, 06:29
I'm looking for recommedations for interior paint for my spaceframe baggy N3253 (similar to twice shy and wendy wind blows)

I have decided to paint the GRP and the wood bouancy tanks, centreboard coping and thwarts all the same. (the low clutter approach - I might be able to see the right control line then;-)

I am leaving the decks coated with sikkens ceetol. I need a robust paint that will go ontop of GRP and wood (after a good sand for keying).

Advice please...

Philip

To my mind you cant beat 2 pack polyurethane but you need to be careful what you apply it two as apparently it blisters when applied over single pack poly - I do know from experience that it doesn't take kndly to Tetrion filler.
