The Hykeham SC N12 Open meeting and Gill series event 4 will take place on 26th & 27th June. The Notice of Race and Entry form are on the club web site www.hykehamsailing.co.uk/ and should be on the class web site shortly.
Entries will be accepted on the day, but an indication on the forum from those intending to come would be appreciated to assist in the organisation.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

Team Fat Boy will be there. Leave us a space for the tent on Friday night, and don't shut the bar before we get there.
Simon
if anyone needs a crew id love to be there, or if anyone can lend me a boat that would be awesome too
cheers
sam
Sam - would have a vintage yot avaialbe (collect from Derby/already on trailer), but you don't do vintage - or do you? Angus could well be looking for a crew for Mr Jones. P :K)
Kevin and I hope to be there with our entourage so will require tent space please. If there is a volunteer with a boat, babysitter and crew then I am sure Dave would love to join us on the water!
Jane
Crew of 3527 Snagglepuss
We look like missing it this year due to other commitments, hope the sun shines!
RM
I and Maz will hopefully be there this year ;D
Gerald & Nick will be there with 3280 & 3411 with room needed for 2 tenta
Rohan and I will be there with Agent Orange. Looking to arrive late friday night or Saturday very early saturday morning if that is ok.
We will be there with full family entourage, babysitters etc, but not camping (so the rest of you can have a quiet night's sleep);).

Slight change of plans Steve. We will still be coming Friday night but Matt and Luke will be sailing 3236. I will be guesting in a borrowed boat. Just waiting for the crewing situation to be confirmed.
Simon
More change of plans, possibly.
Unfortunately the crew who I had lined up has had a death in the family so is possibly not sailing. To be honest I am not sure if she is or isn't.
So covering all the bases are there going to be any spare crews available for Hykeham to sit in the front of a Foolish?
Simon
Hi,
Carbon Paw Print will be there! But we me and Debi will be sailing her. Will hopefully be camping fri and sat! My mum and dad will be around is anyone needs babysitters, or my mum could be persuaded to crew if anyone needs one!
Naomi
Hi Steve,
Hoping to be their both days
Thank you to all those who have posted responses or Emailed me directly. We are finalising catering numbers and can offer everyone the choice of Lasagne or Chicken curry or a Vegetarian option for the meal on Saturday evening. Prices will be £6 per meal so excellent value. If you want to guarantee you meal choice and avoid disappointment can you post here or Email me direct with meal choices.
Also I suspect there may be some people who are planning to come, but don't use this forum or Email, so if anyone knows of someone who is coming, but has not posted here can you post here on their behalf, it would be much appreciated.

Fantastic event, well organised and a pleasure to be at such a friendly club.
Even the weather was glorious even if the wind was a bit errratic!
Look forward to going again soon!
Simon & Matt
PS sailing the Foolish was great and having a thwart to sit on means the knees are not to bad today, hhhhmmmmmmm
A big "thank you" to all involved at Hykeham for an excellent summer event; the wind might have been a bit dodgy yesterday but the hospitality, catering, sunshine and race organisation were all brilliant! Well done! Px :K)
Great event, thanks to all concerned great club great people and a well run event what could be better. Thank You.
Shame we missed it. Who won?
Thanks to Hykeham - great weekend.
Simon - I think you should definitely consider a Foolish, you know you would love it!
Jane
Are you saying I would be Foolish not to ;D
Great weekend . Thanks to all.
Jon & Char won, Chris & Sophie 2nd. Steve & Jo 3rd.
I owe Lesley a drink for crewing in the pursuit race ( We were just behind Kevin when the race finished)
Gerald
3280
Was that just behind us on the slipway Gerald?
Ok Jane I was last, but until you retired I wasn't a leg behind everyone. I worked really hard to get back to last place and then you go and retire so I'm not last anymore. All that effort for nothing-
Those of you who were at the meeting probably saw the photos that Luke took, but for those that didn't he has made them available at the following link
