Title: And Ranelagh on the 29th.....
Post by: Fran G (Guest) on 19 Mar 2006, 01:04
And straight after Steve Nicholson, which I will be attending is Ranelagh Open Meeting for the Royal Thames YC trophy, which I will also be attending.  Sunday 29th January.

I believe it is a 12.30 start and last year was a really very lovely day to be out sailing on the river.  Am sure it will be this year too.

Anyone travelling down from Northampton or indeed not travelling down from Northampton is welcome to accomodation in Putney and maybe a couple of Putney beers the evening before.

Regret ...  just travelling back from week's skiing that day so will have to miss the fun.  However, hope we get as many boats as possible for this great traditional winter river meeting.

What's the parking like on a Sunday morning? Is that going to be a problem???

No problem at all. There will be some rowers about early but you can park on any of the side roads and along the embankment. Trailers can be left on the top of the hard.
