Hi all
I posted a message on here a few weeks ago regarding a lovely 1970 China Doll I acquired. Had some great advice and help from people on here.
I have now sailed her four times. First two I hated the boat and was already thinking about a price and where to advertise it before I got back to dry land.
After last Sunday I have now seen the light. Fantastic sail and so much more fun than my Miracle. All I need now is a decent set of sails....
A question though.....is it normal for your knees and legs to be stiff for two days after sailing a 12 ? :)
Great that you've seen the light - a little bit of perseverence is often required by newcomers but the rewards are worth it!
The stiffness will diminish as you get more used to that level of activity in a boat, you'll doubtless be moving much more than you were in your Miracle!
