The Scottish Daily Express Trophy for first place was won by Geoff Camm & Amelia Hall in Transmogrifier.

The Mariner Mug for first single bottom boat was won by Phil David & James Shipley in Wendy Windblows. 

By popular demand, we are planning to return to Kippford again in 2003, sharing a mid September date with the Scottish Laser Travellers, although it is fair to say that it is the Twelves which attract all the attention.  This year the entry fee was a very reasonable £10, but we are already discussing the inclusion of a good quality buffet on the Saturday night, to be included in a higher entry fee. 

I hope that the foray by sailors from the deep south will be repeated next year, but in greater numbers.  We promise an excellent weekend with interesting tidal conditions in inshore waters.
