Fourteen twelves enjoyed a brisk breeze, a cloudless sky and the wide open water of Derwent Reservoir, with visitors travelling from Yorkshire Ouse, Ripon and Yeadon Sailing Clubs.

Philip and Helen David made a rare mistake in the first race by missing a mark but retained the McLellan Salver by winning the last two races. Bernard Clark and James Shipley finished second overall after sailing consistently all day.
