11 National Twelves enjoyed brisk if shifty winds at Spinnaker Club on 25 Sept. for their annual open meeting. Four races were sailed with results counting from the best three.

Steve and Issie Adshead in a new Final Chapter gave an impressive display winning all four races. They were pressed at times by Bim Daser and Sarah Edwards in "Feeling Foolish", John and Mandy Thornton who capsized whilst leading race 3 in their Final Chapter and Graham Camm and Amelia Hall who lead for much of the final race demonstrating the competitiveness still of the Cheshire Cat design on inland waters.
