We are a gravel pit about 3/4 mile long and 1/2 mile wide located
just to the south west of Reading. (right by the M4 junction 12)
There are currently five Twelves. We sail in the fast handicap on Sunday mornings and afternoons. It is a good club for families with Optimists, Toppers for the kids and Fireballs and Lasers if the kids are too big for Twelves. Many of the Twelve helms sail with their kids, so it is a very friendly class. The club is new and very nice . . . and there's a beach in summer!

Directions:
Take the M4 to junction 12, follow the A4 towards Thiele, turn left at the first roundabout into a business park, then right at the next two roundabout, following signs to Thiele Station. Turn left at the station and cross over the railway line. After 1/2 a mile you will cross a canal, Burghfield S.C. is on the left 200 m after the Canal.
