About the Smuggler

Designed by Uffa Fox in 1959, resulting from a request from the 12 owners association. Fox's first drawings were for a hard chine hull, which did not comply with the class rules. The second drawings produced this hull, with a fine entry, flattish floors and a wide transom. In subsquent years the Smuggler 2 was created as a development of the Smuggler
