22-25 August            Herne Bay Sailing Club

The National 12’s are new to the venue of Herne Bay Sailing Club, which is situated just along the coast from the more well known Whitstable SC.  Sailing in the same area, the venue offers very easy access to the sailing waters, with no long sail to the race area. The club is situated right on the promenade of the small town of Herne Bay and launching is straight in front of the club house.

Camping is available onsite just behind the club on public land between the promenade and the beach road, so think back to the convenience of  Thorpe Bay!

If you are looking for a little more luxury then there are various hotels and B&B’s scattered around the locality including a Premier Inn on the outskirts of the north side of  Herne Bay itself. For more information about accommodation use the venue info link above.

With such a great venue, racing just off the beach, warmth  of August weather for camping (it’s going to be warm!) this is an event not to miss so get your entry in now so that we can plan effectively and put on a fantastic four days of sailing and social activities.
