The National 12’s have a bit of a history with Pevensey Bay Sailing Club and with great sailing it is little surprise that we are returning to the venue after far too long a break having last held our championships there in 1999.
Pevensey Bay Sailing Club offers fantastic sailing conditions in the large bay, and with racing taking place just off the beach there is no long sail out to the race area, great open water conditions (no short sharp chop here!) and a very experienced shore team to help get you on and off the water. Camping is available onsite (though there is limited space so best to enter early and book your spot), so think back to the convenience of Thorpe Bay and Brightlingsea for the great social benefits of being onsite. If the club camp area is full, there is a campsite barely a stones throw away anyway or if you are inclined to slightly more comfort then check out the local B&B’s and rental properties. With such a great venue, racing just off the beach in the predominantly southwesterly winds, warmth of August weather for camping (it’s going to be warm!) this is an event not to miss so get your entry in now so that we can plan effectively and put on a fantastic four days of sailing and social activities.
