??Uffa King Tom Graty£1400.00In recent years I have found less and less time to enjoy my beautiful rebuilt National twelve and am looking at finding a good home. I have it stored in Manchester in a garage and last sailed Drake last year on Pennington Flash. All in fantastic working order. It was rebuilt / restored (1985 ) national twelve. Mahogany on Oak ribs. It was discovered that it once was called Mallard and had become Drake. It is now called Drake ll . The original builders plate is from Abingdon on Thames. The mast is bamboo and has a gunter rig. I have been sailing Drake ever since the rebirth, on Windermere and Rudyard Lake. Drake was never re measured but was rebuilt to within 1/8th inch by Richard Pierce of Franklin Eldridge at FerryNab,Winderemere,where subsequently I kept Drake for the following 15 years. Only ever sailed on freshwater since rebuild.Photos available. Drake and I have over the years had to endure a lot of attention as on the water looks very pretty indeed.
